RUMOR: Something Call of Duty Related to Be Revealed at Upcoming Nintendo Direct

Call of Duty Blackout Nintendo Direct - Switch

Update 14th September  Nothing Call of Duty related was in fact mentioned at this particular Nintendo Direct. We are in touch with our sources to find out why this was and when we can expect something on this subject. Stay tuned.

Gaming INTEL has received exclusive information that suggests something Call of Duty related will be revealed at the upcoming Nintendo Direct. After speaking to our source, who wishes to remain anonymous, he mentioned that they’re “confident something Call of Duty related will be in the Direct.”

We are currently unaware of what exactly this is referring to. Our previous leaks, which we posted earlier this year, suggest Blackout may be arriving on Nintendo Switch. In addition, Treyarch’s senior producer Yale Miller has confirmed that Black Ops 4 will not be arriving on Switch. Therefore, that leaves us with either Blackout standalone or something entirely different which is COD related.

The Blackout Beta arrives on September 10th at 10am PT, first on PS4 – with it scheduled to end on the 14th. Also, on Sept. 14 at 10am PT the beta will be available on PS4, Xbox One, and for those who have early access to the PC Beta.

While playing as some of your favorite characters from across the series, fight through classic Black Ops locales. Jump into an 80 player Battle Royale with a wing suit, and take control of your surroundings. According to David Vonderhaar, the map will be approximately 2500 times bigger than Nuketown and the biggest so far in the franchise. Whether you’re looking to dominate the sea, air, or land, the wide variety of vehicles allow a premium last-player-standing experience.

Nintendo Direct Delayed

The upcoming Nintendo Direct, which will showcase new games for 35 minutes long, was previously scheduled to air on September 6th, 2018 at 3pm PT / 6pm ET / 11pm BST. However, due to the powerful earthquake in Hokkaido, Japan, they decided to delay the livestream.

Furthermore, Nintendo announced that they will provide a new time and date in the near future. Although, our anonymous insider claims it will now be taking place on September 13th, 2018.

“Hearing the delayed direct will happen September 13th”.
