It appears as though new Call of Duty Modern Warfare Multiplayer details have been leaked prior to the full reveal on August 1st, 2019.
The suppose details, courtesy of YouTuber TGR, seem to focus on some of the finer and more in-depth aspects of Multiplayer – despite the fact we are roughly three months away from launch.
Modern Warfare Specialist Streaks
The popular YouTuber claims Specialist Streaks will be making a return in Modern Warfare, in addition to Scorestreaks and Killstreaks. Specialist Streaks from MW3 are back in relatively the same system as before, claims the leaker.
They also mention that courtesy of the perk ‘Pointman’, players will be able to change their killstreaks into scorestreaks. The vast majority of fans will be more inclined to
Scorestreaks are currently harder to obtain than killstreaks. For example, Juggernaut which is currently 15 kills or 2500 points of score.
Modern Warfare Camos
Although it seems rather bizarre, players will reportedly be able to use camos on their streaks. This is not in the current build of the game, instead, Infinity Ward is planning on implementing this particular aspect as post-launch content. It could also be a concept which never comes into fruition, claims the YouTuber.
While Modern Warfare is seemingly adopting the more realistic approach to the franchise, there’s a good chance we won’t be seeing any Gold or Diamond camos
In the video, it’s also mentioned that the Crossbow will be arriving in the game as a DLC weapon. It’s possible that players will be able to obtain the weapon courtesy of a Battle Pass.
Alongside this, it’s also rumored that players will be able to edit their create-a-class in-game via the weapon bench. This means you can edit your attachments and perks while in the middle of a gunfight.
Infinity Ward will detail much more about Multiplayer on August 1st. We advise fans to take all leaks and rumors with some skepticism until then.
