Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Zombies Fourth Map Music Allegedly Leaked

Gcally22, a leaker in the Call of Duty community who has leaked both the location of WWII’s first Zombies map and Black ops 3’s Zombies Chronicles, has posted an audio file that is supposedly linked to a fourth map in Black Ops 4 Zombies.

The song in question is very much in the country style and gives off heavy Johnny Cash vibes. It makes references to the city of Boston, and the singer is clearly talking about some sort of flooding event. The Charles River that runs through Boston is very prone to flooding, so it could be this river that the singer is referencing.

However, if this new map is indeed to be set in Boston, or elsewhere in Massachusets, then it does not fit with what we have already been told about this fourth map.

This is, of course, not the first time we have heard news of a fourth map in the Black ops 4 Zombies mode. In May GamingINTEL reported that the youtuber CodeNamePizza had let slip that a fourth map was on the way in a live stream, in which he claimed that this fourth map was another remake in a similar way to Blood of The Dead.  We have not yet experienced a map in Boston, unless Treyarch intends to take one of their previous map and bring it to a new location.

The other potential use for this song is that of a perk jingle. The Zombies mode by Treyarch is well known for their utilization of extra perks that can be bought throughout the course of the map through Perk-A-Cola machines. Almost all of these machines have jingles, and while this song is not as upbeat as those can be it is of the around the right length and does mention a drink, even if that drink only was water.

It is also interesting to note that Avenged Sevenfold, a band that has created many songs for the Black Ops franchise, has stated that they are creating a new song for the upcoming Black Ops 4, and that the song would be a complete departure from what their fans have come to expect. What could be a bigger departure from the style we know and love than a country song about a river in Boston?

GamingINTEL’s own sources have recently claimed that the fourth Zombies map will be announced at the upcoming San Francisco Comic-Con, an event in which Black Ops 4 Zombies is confirmed to make an appearance. We may only have to wait until this event to find out the truth behind this perplexing, allegedly leaked, song.
