Treyarch has released a new update for Call of Duty Black Ops 4 (BO4) on PS4, Xbox One, and PC will follow suit later today. Whilst this update doesn’t introduce any major additions to the game, except the launch of Nuketown, there are a lot of very useful changes. We’ve listed the Black Ops 4 update 1.07 patch notes below.
Prior to this update, Treyarch announced that the upcoming “very special 2XP event” will in fact be called Black Ops 4 Quad Feed. In addition, they also confirmed when players will be able to get their hands on it. Starting November 21st at 10am PT / 6pm UK, fans will be able to experience 2XP in Multiplayer/Zombies, 2X Merits in Blackout, 2X Tier Boost in MP and Blackout, and 2X Nebulium Plasma in Zombies.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Update 1.07 Patch Notes
This update’s file size doesn’t come as much of a surprise. It appears to be 10.95GB on Xbox One and 9GB on PS4, which is very similar to all others.
After a long, boring wait for Xbox One and PC users, this update releases Nuketown for all platforms. In addition, fans can also encounter Zombies on Nuketown Island in Call of Duty Blackout. Whilst many will think of this as just another distraction to your game, they do in fact arrive with some rewards. The Zombies Stash next to the player count sign can only be unlocked after all Zombies have been eliminated.
Furthermore, a game-breaking Call of Duty Blackout Issue has finally been fixed. Mentioned in one of our most recent articles, we confirmed that numerous players had been experiencing a problem their screen unexpectedly jittering when moving and changing attachments, or when moving and healing. This issue has now officially been removed with the launch of Black Ops 4 update 1.07.
Lastly, Zombies stability updates are now here. Across all four maps, 70+ crash fixes and gameplay improvements have been implemented in-game today. In previous patches, fixes for crashes and bugs in Zombies were a common occurrence within the patch notes. It appears Treyarch are following on from last week and have now fixed many bugs which have had major effect on players.
