In addition to Double Weapon XP last week, Treyarch officially announced that a “very special 2XP event” would make its way into the game. Therefore, Treyarch has now provided details on what exactly we can expect. Starting November 21st, the new Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Quad Feed event will be implemented in-game.
Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Quad Feed Event
The announcement came via twitter, confirming that the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 event will be starting on November 21st and will be called Quad Feed – 2XP in Multiplayer/Zombies, 2X Merits in Blackout, 2X Tier Boost in MP and Blackout, and 2X Nebulium Plasma in Zombies.
So far in the latest instalment within the Call of Duty franchise, we’ve seen many bonus weekends made live in-game. Despite the list of bonuses released including 2X NP, 2XP for Multiplayer, 2X tier increase, and 2X Weapon XP, they are yet to all be available at the same time. Therefore, this event will mark the first time all four major 2X bonuses have been activated, hence the reason for its name “Quad Feed”.
START: Wednesday, Nov. 21 at 10am PT / 6pm UK.
END: Monday, Nov. 26 at 10am PT / 6pm UK.
Nuketown Coming to Xbox One & PC
Alongside the event’s announcement, Treyarch also reminded players that Nuketown will be coming to Xbox One and PC this Tuesday, Nov. 20th. The re-imagined classic launched on PS4 nearly one week ago due to Activision’s exclusive partnership with Playstation.
Furthermore, Treyarch announced other additions which will be arriving in-game starting Tuesday. PC and Xbox One players will soon be able to encounter Zombies on Call of Duty Blackout’s extremely popular ‘Nuketown Island’ location. After killing the Zombies, those in the Nuketown area will be able to unlock the Zombies Stash that lays right behind the player count sign. As exciting as this new feature is, it will unfortunately only be available for a limited time.
