Treyarch is at it again with the subtle hints and marketing leading up until the Call of Duty Black Ops 4 reveal on May 17th. A recent reply on the Treyarch Twitter has all but confirmed the Pick 10 system is returning to Black Ops 4.

This is a clear hint and the squares even share a resemblance to the way Pick 10 was displayed on Black Ops 3.
What is the Pick 10 system?
Pick 10 is a class building feature introduced by Treyarch in Black Ops 2. It allows more options for players to customize their loadout, with the ability of changing 10 elements. This has been used before in previous Call of Duty games:
- Call of Duty: Black Ops II
- Call of Duty Online
- Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare (Pick 13)
- Call of Duty: Black Ops III
- Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare
So far we’ve had a different marketing approach from Treyarch compared with previous games. Usually there would be viral campaigns toward the single player campaign mode. For example in 2015 we received Snapchat leaks including Dr. Salim and other leads for Black Ops 3. For Black Ops 4 we haven’t seen any yet, thereby supporting the no campaign leak.
Pick 10 is a popular feature and with all the leaks, which have so far proved negative with the community; it’s obvious they’re trying to calm the tension with some good news. This speaks volumes, as Treyarch is clearly watching the community reaction and potentially making changes to build a lower risk game.
