In addition to the latest Black Ops 4 Multiplayer Update, it appears that Treyarch have decided to add a few surprises into the game’s files. A reddit user called “Joshwoocool”, amongst other dataminers, claim to have spotted two new Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Maps – Firing Range Night and Seaside Sunset.
So far, within the Call of Duty franchise there hasn’t been a great amount of maps with altered weather. Of course, Black Ops 3 featured the iconic and infamous “Fringe Nightfall” map, along with “Redwood Snow”. Furthermore, COD 4: Modern Warfare Remastered also had the Winter Crash map added near Christmas time. Besides from those maps amongst others, it’s still fair to say that there hasn’t been that many featured within the series.
Black Ops 4 Firing Range Night & Seaside Sunset Maps Leaked
As you can see in the image shown above, this particular Seaside Sunset map will most likely have a lot of rain for players to experience all-out warfare in.
If these leaks are anything to go by, players will soon be able to play this night version of the map Firing Range.
Prior to the game’s release, Activision announced how their exclusivity deals with PlayStation would effect additional content after launch. Whilst we cannot confirm when exactly these new versions of maps will arrive, one thing we can expect is for PS4 players to have access to these seven days earlier. PC and Xbox One players will most likely follow suit one week later.
Many fans have been theorising that Treyarch could allow players to experience these specific maps for free, following the pattern of previous years. Although, they are yet to announce any official details regarding the information mentioned above, therefore there is no indication on how and when they will be implemented in-game.
In addition, confirmed earlier this year was that a ton of new content will be added in-game over the course of the next year or so. As of now, December or January seem the most likely option for these particular additions, however we cannot confirm anything.
