During the Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Community Reveal, David Vonderhaar had something a little special to share with us, that our exclusive sources at GamingINTEL had shared a while ago. Call of Duty Blackout, doing Battle Royale the Call of Duty Black Ops way.
Featuring characters from every mode, from every game, in the Black Ops universe players will be able to explore a wide and open map that is, according to Vonderhaar, around 1500 times the size of Nuketown to come out on top.
The game mode will feature vehicles that can travel across the land, air and sea and will also have locations from the most iconic places of players favourite maps.
The mode will also feature weapons and characters from across the Black Ops Franchise, meaning that Campaign characters like Hudson and Woods will be facing off against characters from Zombies like Richtofen and from Multiplayer like Ruin all at the same time.
As GamingINTEL’s sources predicted earlier in the year the Battle Royale mode will be replacing a traditional campaign, and the mode will be launching on October 12th alongside three Zombies maps and the Multiplayer experience.
