Besides from presents, amongst other gifts, experienced Call of Duty Black Ops 4 players will be looking forward to one thing in particular on December 25th: Christmas Noobs! These are new players who receive the game as a Christmas gift and start off at level one, whilst the majority have already prestiged.
Christmas Noobs Are Coming to Call of Duty Black Ops 4
Typically speaking, Christmas Noobs lack knowledge in regards to the finer details within the game. Therefore, those who’ve had the game since day one will be able to take advantage of this and significantly increase their stats.
Of course, this may come across as a little out of order to some. Nonetheless, kills are kills, and the Call of Duty community will do anything when it comes to increasing K/D ratio in Multiplayer and getting wins on Blackout. Let’s be honest, who wouldn’t take an easy kill when they see one?
Although Christmas Noobs are coming to Call of Duty Black Ops 4, that’s not to say every player you encounter will be an easy kill. Yes, there will be a significant increase of beginners in lobbies, however, there’s still a very good chance that you’ll bump into someone just as good as you. So, don’t go jumping into matches without a care in the world.
Blackout in particular will feature many Christmas Noobs. With this being the first ever Battle Royale mode to release in the Call of Duty franchise, beginners will be eager to give it a try!
Black Ops 2 In-Game ‘Christmas Noobs’ Message
Previously, Treyarch has addressed the annual influx of Christmas Noobs with a rather humorous response. Some may remember this in-game message that appeared on BO2:
“Let’s talk Christmas Noobs. It’s that time of the year again where thousands of new players join the online ranks for the first time. We’d ask you to go easy on the Christmas Noobs, but we know you won’t.”
It’s possible that Treyarch will be following suit this year and will once again release an in-game message to prepare users for an inundation of Christmas Noobs.
In other news, over the past few weeks Treyarch has been making numerous changes to the game in celebration of the holiday season. Snowballs, holiday map decorations, amongst other additions have all been implemented to add to this year’s festiveness in Blackout. In addition, Multiplayer has also received a host of improvements throughout the entirety of this month. Once again, the majority of which have relation to the current season.
