Two different Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Digital Deluxe editions have been discovered in a recent update for Call of Duty Black Ops 3 on PC.
The Spanish youtuber GuiasTacticasESP went into the encrypted files of the PC version of Black Ops 3 and managed to discover a whole host of currently unused images, including images that suggest not one but two Digital Deluxe editions of Black Ops 4.
When asked for comment on how he came across these images GuiasTacticasESP had this to say;
“Those files are encoded and obtained directly. How you can obtain them is not a secret, but it is better not to tell everyone how it is done, because developers could patch the way files are coded and that would hurt the modding community. But essentially, they are images located on the game files, which are used on some commands on the store. Right now you can pre-order BO4 standard, which is exactly one of the images I obtained. The other 2 aren’t yet in game, and they need a hotfix to be released.”
While it may seem odd for Treyarch to be putting promotional material into Black Ops 3, this wouldn’t be the first time that they have used past games as a form of promotion. Call of Duty titles often use their Multiplayer Menus as a place to throw pop-ups and tooltips at their players when they log in for the first time, and advertising future games this way has been a common practice for years.
Currently, it is uncertain what the Digital Deluxe and Digital Deluxe Plus editions of Black Ops 4 will contain. Based on the Black Ops 3 Digital Deluxe edition it is likely that the Black Ops 4 Digital Deluxe will contain the full base game, the rumoured Zombies Season Pass, some personalization packs and perhaps the Nuketown 4 that David Vonderhaar recently teased.
Remember that time you made Nuketown. Oh. Right. Remember that 2nd and 3rd and …

The Digital Deluxe Plus edition will, of course, contain even more content than the normal Digital Deluxe edition. Rumours have been swirling recently that Black Ops 4 will have a fourth Zombies map alongside the three that have already been announced, rumours that matches up with information provided by Gaming INTEL’s own sources. It would not be out of the realm of possibility for this Digital Deluxe Plus edition of the game to contain this fourth Zombies map alongside some exclusive Blackout cosmetics.
With both Comic-Con and E3 around the corner, it won’t be long until we receive official confirmation on the state of the Black Ops 4 Digital Deluxe and Black Ops 4 Digital Deluxe Plus editions of the game.
