RUMOR: Call of Duty Battle Royale Is a Separate Game, but Bundled with Black Ops 4

Call of Duty Battle Royale Game Seperate - Bundled With Black Ops 4

A few days ago, we heard reports of a Black Ops 4 Battle Royale Game Mode taking place. These reports seem to have some meaning, however we now have further and more in-depth details of what you can expect. Gaming INTEL has now received leaked details on Call of Duty Battle Royale. According to a tipster who has specifically discussed inside information with us, “Call of Duty Battle Royale is a Separate Game, but bundled with Black Ops 4”.

We trust this tipster to be reliable given that a lot of his information corroborates with more than one leak we’ve been given, another through a trusted source. Our source has stated “I can assure you that CoD BR is a separate game.”

Our leaker also goes onto mention, “Call of Duty Battle Royale will be being developed by Raven Software and Beenox Team”. This is extremely interesting considering Raven Software were previously responsible for developing Modern Warfare Remastered and Beenox with Call of Duty: Black Ops III. With that said, it’s likely we’ll be seeing Raven play a bigger part in this based on the information we have so far.

Battle Royale played one of the most significant parts within the Gaming Community in 2017. From PUBG to Fortnite, Battle Royale is thought to have made way over 1 billion dollars. When witnessing the success of Games like Fortnite, it completely adds up why Activision are having a separate Battle Royale game made.

As we’ve already mentioned, despite this Call of Duty Battle Royale Game being entirely separate, it appears that the only way this is available is as a special bundle with Black Ops 4. As a marketing perspective this would make total sense, especially knowing that the die-hard BR fans will happily do anything to get their hands on the game. Just like what we saw with Infinite Warfare and MW Remastered at launch, despite being forced to buy Infinite Warfare as well, this didn’t stop players paying over the odds to get their hands on CoD 4 Remastered. For those wondering what it will cost, we are yet to receive any details on that. However, considering Black Ops 4 is £50 on Amazon, we’d be expecting this bundle to be approximately £70 – £80.

Previously, EuroGamer sources suggested Treyarch would be completely abandoning their campaign this year to spend more time on Zombies and Multiplayer. We are very intrigued to see how this new Call of Duty Battle Royale Game plans out.

Of course without any confirmation from Activision we cannot be one hundred percent sure, however our source seems very credible.
