With the recent reveal of Call Of Duty Black Ops 4, the gaming community are excited to get their hands on it and that also means the Beta. But when will we be able to get a Black Ops 4 Beta Release Date announcement? With little information about the game itself so far, we are left in the dark but we can base a lot of info on previous years.
Black Ops 4 Beta Release Date / Predictions
One that has been confirmed is the Global Launch date: October 12th 2018. Black Ops 4 is due to release almost an entire month before the usually expected date of early November.
Back in 2015, Black Ops 3 released an Open Beta in August, giving developers two months before the release to fix problems, amend bugs and mend concerns that players had about the game.
Black Ops 3 beta was released two months before the game and surely a Black Ops 4 would follow suit. It would give developers time to sort any issues and suggestions. With this in mind, could we see a Black Ops 4 Beta as early as July? Quite possibly, but we should know for definite on May 17th at the Activision special event. Hopefully we will have more information on the game and Beta then.
What to expect
Past Betas have been released with 7 gamemodes and 3 maps. Here’s the Call of Duty Black Ops 3 Beta featured modes:
- Team Deathmatch
- Kill confirmed
- Search and Destroy
- Capture the flag
Could we be seeing a new tactical objective gamemode such as War in BO4? Arguably one of the best things about COD WW2. It would really benefit the game to feature the gamemode. Prop hunt was also positively received by the fans, maybe that could make a return. It would certainly liven up the experience.
Battle Royale rumours have been buzzing around the titles name, especially with the recent success of PUBG and Fortnite. Could Treyarch surprise fans with a battle royale mode featured? Only time will tell.
