The launch of BO4 Operation Apocalypse Z has prompted speculation as to what the upcoming addition to the game will entail. Treyarch is expected to introduce the next operation prior to the launch of Modern Warfare. Below, we’ve detailed our prediction for the Call of Duty Black Ops 4 DLC 4 release date, in addition to what the Zombies experience may include, and potential Multiplayer maps.
BO4 DLC 4 Release Date on PS4, Xbox One and PC
You can bet your bottom dollar Black Ops 4 DLC 4 will release before Modern Warfare on October 25, although Activision is yet to comment on the matter. While we cannot be certain on an exact date, tradition may provide a better estimate.
Here’s when previous Operations launched on PS4:
- Operation Absolute Zero: December 11th, 2018
- Operation Spectre Rising: April 30th, 2019
- Operation Apocalypse Z: July 9th, 2019
There is usually a time period of roughly three months between the release of each DLC. Activision will be making a conscious effort not to make Black Ops 4 DLC 4 interfere with other occurrences. Therefore, there’s a good chance it won’t be released around the same date as the Modern Warfare BETA, which has been heavily rumored to arrive in late August.
Black Ops 3 introduced their fourth DLC pack on September 6th, directly after the 2016 Call of Duty World Championships. Our money is on Black Ops 4 DLC 4 launching towards the end of September or early October.
Due to the exclusivity partnership, PS4 players will be able to get their hands on it 7 days prior to Xbox One and PC.
Next Black Ops 4 Zombie Map
With Alpha Omega in full swing, it wouldn’t be a bad estimate to assume the next experience will allow players to embark on a new adventure involving the site of the great war in some way, shape or form. This might not be the case, however.
YouTube user ‘TheGamingRevolution’ claims they have heard from various sources that the next Black Ops 4 Zombies map is a Call of the Dead remake. Apparently, Treyarch had always planned to close off the Aether storyline by just having remakes.
Next Black Ops 4 Map Pack
Four all-new Multiplayer maps are supposedly on the horizon. While this is the final DLC of Black Ops 4, we can expect many of which to be remakes.
It’s unclear as to what exactly these will be. We’re hoping to see remakes of all-time classics in the Black Ops series, such as Standoff, Hanoi and Express.
In the meantime, you can experience all-out warfare in Der Schatten, Havana, and Remnant – the three new maps introduced with DLC 3.
Blackout Changes in the Next Black Ops 4 Operation
Upcoming changes for the widely acclaimed mode always remain under wraps. Given the changes implemented to the mode in previous operations, we wouldn’t be surprised to see a host of tweaks, new weapons and weather additions, potentially alongside a new map for the mode.
Although Blackout has also received the arrival of Alcatraz, in addition to an array of new points of interests, fans will still be eager to test out new weapons on an all-new map in the mode.
What additions would you like to see arrive with the launch of Black Ops 4 DLC 4? When do you think it will release? Let us know in the comments.
