Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 continues to be a trending topic. The multiplayer beta is in the books, and now we await for the Blackout beta coming in September. PS4 players get it September 10th, Xbox on September 14th, and PC on September 15th! Before the hype continues to roll on with the Black Ops 4 Blackout beta, it seems Gamescom had a nice surprise. Black Ops 4 was playable at Gamescom, and they introduced a new map. The name: Arsenal. The ‘Arsenal’ multiplayer map seemed to be quite a hit.

The GamingBible has confirmed that the new multiplayer map is loads of fun. Watching this video, it seems that the new map is bigger than the multiplayer maps we saw in the beta. It also seems like the perfect map for all those snipers who like to hit feeds or trickshots. Kind of like Pamaj does. The new ‘Arsenal’ multiplayer map feels like a combination of different maps from the Black Ops 3 game.
The layout of the map and overall appearance is similar to Black Ops 3’s Rift map from the Eclipse DLC. Again, this is just my personal opinion, so if it reminds you of something else or other maps let me know. I love to find connections or comparisons in these new games! Just to play around with the idea though I will include a picture of Rift from Black Ops 3 below.
Given the size of the ‘Arsenal’ multiplayer map, I’d imagine we would see it appear the most in the “Chaos TDM” game mode that we saw in the multiplayer beta. Since the map is bigger 6v6 would be ideal to play on it. Although, 5v5 isn’t that much of a difference. I also hope that Treyarch does introduce a Groundwar mode because with the smaller maps it could be chaotic fun; with bigger maps, just plain fun. Especially on this new ‘Arsenal’ multiplayer map that was introduced.
If you find any other maps that are comparable to Arsenal, let us know in the comments down below!
