Call of Duty has been a yearly franchise for over the last decade now. It has built up a loyal fanbase, but fans don't love every game in the series.
There are already rumors that the next game in the series, WWII Vanguard, could be a major disappointment for fans.
Will Call of Duty 2021 Be Bad?
Loads of information about the upcoming Call of Duty game has been leaked. Firstly, the title of the game was leaked to be Call of Duty: WWII Vanguard.
Next, the traditional setting of the game was revealed, and many fans were already worried at the prospect of another WWII-era shooter.
And the news doesn't get any better for Call of Duty fans, following a tweet from trusted industry insider Tom Henderson.

To put it simply (and profanity-free), Henderson calls the upcoming Call of Duty: WWII Vanguard a "disaster". This does not bode well at all.
Unfortunately, he didn't go into any detail about why the game could be such a disappointment. However, fans can expect more details about the game to come out soon as Henderson said "but more on that for a later time".
There is some good news for the game though. Call of Duty: WWII Vanguard will supposedly be using this game engine.

Also, reports indicate that Warzone could be getting a WWII-themed map to link with Call of Duty: WWII Vanguard. This would be a breath of fresh air for Warzone.
