Call of Duty 2020 “already looks great” and is “on track for later this year,” Activision has confirmed. In their most recent earnings call, the company touches on the upcoming iteration in the franchise.

Although Activision’s Q1 2020 financial call mainly focuses on Modern Warfare and Warzone, it also provides a glimpse of what to expect with Call of Duty 2020.

Call of Duty 2020 Release Date Still on Track

First of all, Activision confirms that the Call of Duty 2020 release date is still on the horizon for later this year. There was previously some concern among the community as to whether or not it will go ahead as intended, but it now seems there’s no need to worry.

COD 2020 “Already Looks Great”

There has been a lot of speculation regarding the upcoming Call of Duty title, in particular. Last year, various reports suggested Treyarch is now in charge of development due to a major upheaval.

It appears as though there’s no need to worry, however. In Activision’s recent earnings call, the company mentions that COD 2020 “already looks great.”

Unfortunately, Activision hasn’t clarified when we can expect to see its reveal or what the upcoming title is going to be. If tradition is anything to go by, however, Call of Duty 2020 will be revealed later this month or in June, so stay tuned and keep an eye out for further information.
