Treyarch may have nerfed the Black Ops Cold War Zombies weapon XP, but there's still a way to get experience fast in-game.
Despite the ongoing double XP week, Black Ops Cold War Zombies fans report that weapon XP is slower than ever right now. This is because Treyarch has seen fit to majorly nerf the XP boost after Zombies players were leveling up guns too quickly.
But even after the nerf, there's a way to get Cold War weapon XP in Zombies mode quickly. However, not everyone is aware of the trick just yet.
Believe it or not, simply surviving for wave after wave in Die Maschine isn't actually the fastest way to level up your weapons.
How to Get Weapon XP Fast in Black Ops Cold War Zombies - Die Maschine
It appears that there's a boost to XP when being a member of a party in Black Ops Cold War Zombies. Those looking to level up weapons fast should ensure they're playing with randomers online or in a group with friends.
However, that's not all there is to it. Black Ops Cold War players are noting diminishing returns to weapon XP with each Zombies round. That is to say, you'll be earning boosted weapon XP each at the start of the game, but it quickly decreases over time.
Making your way to Round 100 isn't the way forward here, as you'll barely be leveling up in higher rounds. Instead, what you'll want to do is Exfil at about Round 20.
This will ensure that you're getting your bonus weapon XP at its highest rate before it begins to drop. After Round 20, you'll still be leveling up, just at a far slower pace.
If you Exfil in Black Ops Cold War Zombies, you'll also earn additional rewards and XP in-game. For unlimited XP in Cold War Zombies, you can also find a way to glitch yourself into an invincible position.
However, this method is better for ranking up fast in Cold War, rather than specifically targetting weapon XP. The Call of Duty community has truly banded together following the nerf to Zombies weapon XP, and we're glad to see there are still easy ways to level up fast.
