Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season 3 is just around the corner - here's everything leaked to be coming in the major update.
It's not hard to see that both Black Ops Cold War and Warzone are in a bit of a dry spell at the moment. In general, all updates for the games have been largely disappointing, and content is a little dry.
In fact, many users believe that Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season 2 Reloaded was the worst update of all time.
But now there's not long to go until Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season 3. And according to leaks, this could be a big one in terms of new content.
So without further ado, here's a rundown of what to expect on the Cold War and Warzone Season 3 release date!
Black Ops Cold War & Warzone Season 3 Leaks
When it comes to Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season 3 leaks, there's been plenty to pick from lately.
First and foremost, we know exactly what weapons are coming to Cold War and Warzone Season 3, thanks to a sneaky delve into the game files. We're sure there's still more to come though, especially in Cold War and Warzone Season 3 Reloaded which will come at the season's halfway mark.
You won't have to wait until Season 3 to get Warzone's new overpowered gun however.
Recently, we saw a major leak reveal the new Ural Mountains Warzone map in its entirety. However, this isn't the only new upcoming battle royale arena to be leaked.
In fact, reports indicate that we won't be heading to the Ural Mountains just yet. Instead, a new trailer indicates we're traveling to 1980's Verdansk in Warzone Season 3.
This is the first new full-scale battle royale map since Warzone's launch over a year ago, and players are more than ready for it. However, Verdansk as we know it will never be returning, reports indicate.
We also know about an incoming Warzone Rebirth Island night variant that'll be dropping very soon.
Black Ops Cold War will also be getting new maps in Season 3. And although not much is known about the incoming arenas, we bet that some of the upcoming Call of Duty remasters will be among them.
Season 3 Operators
We're certain that Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season 3 will be bringing some never-seen-before Operators to the games. However, there are some faces that look a tad more familiar also on their way.
Leaks indicate that the next Operator coming to Warzone and Black Ops Cold War is none other than Alex Mason. The Black Ops protagonist is well overdue, and he won't be arriving alone.
After all, hints of a release date for Soap MacTavish have been present for a while now. What's more, it looks like the Sparks Operator bundle could be arriving even before Season 3.
Cold War Zombies Season 3
As for what's next for Black Ops Cold War Zombies, Treyarch has big plans in mind. We already know about the Cold War Zombies Season 3 Wonder Weapon, after all.
The game's developer will also be making big additions to Cold War Zombies' Outbreak mode, which has proven exceptionally popular. A new major Easter egg will be added to Outbreak in Season 3, allowing players to complete a mission in-game like with standard Zombies maps.
Next up, there's still a long-running rumor about the Kino Der Toten remake Cold War Zombies map. While we've not been hearing much about this in recent history, hints at a Berlin map are still hiding in the game's menus.
That's all for Season 3 leaks just yet, but stay tuned for more Warzone and Black Ops Cold War news as it drops. It's almost certainly not going to be long before we start to hear more from Activision about what's coming next.
And there's likely to be a surprise reveal or two that escapes even the most talented dataminers and biggest leaks. In the meantime, here's how to unlock Black Ops Cold War and Warzone's newest sniper rifle that just dropped!
