How to Pre-Load Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season 3 Update

To pre-load Call of Duty‘s new update, here’s what you need to do:

  • Head to your Black Ops Cold War or Warzone application and select ‘Check for Update.’
  • Check your downloads folder.

The ability to pre-load is dependent on both console and region, with PS4 devices typically being able to access it earlier than others. If the update isn’t appearing for you at the moment, give it a little longer.

However, this is likely to differ slightly by region. Recently, we finally got our first Warzone file size reduction update, but Activision’s shooters are still taking up a tremendous amount of space.

Season 3 Release Date & Time

But the all important question is: when is the release date for Season 3?

Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season 3 will begin on April 22.

The new season will begin immediately following the official Warzone Nuke events conclusion. And we’ll soon be heading to a new 1980s-themed Verdansk with new POIs to explore in Warzone.
