There's a new major bug with Black Ops Cold War Season 2 Reloaded and you should say goodbye to your Custom Classes while you still can.
Today should be an exciting day for Black Ops Cold War fans, with the release of Season 2 Reloaded bringing some great new features to the game. However, many Call of Duty players are having a bad time with the update, thanks to a new bug.
With many users wanting to switch up their Classes, thanks to some major buffs and nerfs in the Cold War Season 2 Reloaded patch notes, this issue is proving even more annoying than expected.
But if you want to make a class with Black Ops Cold War Season 2's new weapons, at least you'll have space to do so.
Jumping back into Cold War? Here's everything new in the Black Ops Cold War Season 2 Reloaded update.
Black Ops Cold War Season 2 Reloaded Wipes Custom Classes
According to a collection of users on the Black Ops Cold War subreddit, Season 2 Reloaded's update resets all Custom Classes with no warning.
Many players are logging in to try out the mid-season update and noticing that all their Custom Classes are empty once again. This includes Scorestreaks, Showcase Weapons, and every single Create-a-Class slot.
Thankfully, it appears that this bug isn't affecting all players, and Community Manager Josh Torres thinks he can explain why.
In a new comment by Josh Torres, FoxhoundFPS on Reddit, the Community Manager details his latest findings on the bug:
"We're aware of this issue," Torres begins. "If you didn't log into Black Ops Cold War between approx. 9PM and 10PM PT, your classes should be fine. If you played during the first hour of the update, you'll want to restart and create them again."
Unfortunately, it appears that it's Black Ops Cold War's biggest fans that are getting punished for their excitement this time around. However, something even more worrying is also surfacing.
According to reacted345, the first user to point out the Black Ops Cold War Season 2 Reloaded Custom Class issue, the game is still wiping their account's Classes.
The user closed the game and re-opened it, to find that their Custom Classes were empty once again. We don't yet know if this issue is reoccurring only for those initially affected by it, but it's worrying nonetheless.
And for certain users, this makes Black Ops Cold War basically unplayable in its new build. Interestingly, Warzone Season 2 is also unplayable at the moment.
This issue isn't instilling any more confidence in the game, especially as new reports indicate that Black Ops Cold War has less standard Multiplayer content than any past COD title.
Already, everyone is waiting for the recent leaks of Call of Duty: WW2 Vanguard to get an official announcement. Especially as WW2 Vanguard appears to be running on the Modern Warfare engine.
Fans have been calling Black Ops Cold War a downgrade from Modern Warfare from launch. But is there any truth to this statement?
