Black Ops Cold War Season 2 Reloaded Update File Size, Release Date

The Black Ops Cold War Season 2 Reloaded update is only a short wait away, and its file size has been revealed.

Black Ops Cold War Season 2 brings some exciting new content to this year’s Call of Duty title. Already, fans can enjoy 4 new weapons, as well as new online game modes, maps, Scorestreaks, and more.

It also came hand-in-hand with a new open-world Zombies experience, which is probably the most innovative game mode in recent COD history.

Here’s everything that Black Ops Cold War Season 2 has to offer.

Now, Black Ops Cold War Season 2 Reloaded has been revealed by a leaker, and it’s bringing even more new content into the fray. But what’s new in the mid-season update for Black Ops Cold War and when is it dropping?

New Content in Black Ops Cold War Season 2 Reloaded

There’s a range of new and exciting content coming to Black Ops Cold War Season 2 Reloaded – here’s what we know so far.

First and foremost, the update will be bringing some of the additional promised Season 2 content to Black Ops Cold War. This includes the Mansion map for 2v2 and 3v3 game modes, the Golova Multi-Team map, the ZRG 20mm Sniper Rifle, and more.

It also will be the time where Cold War players finally have the R1 Shadowhunter Crossbow returned after Treyarch accidentally released and removed the weapon early. If you were one of the users who unlocked the weapon already, Treyarch is making unlocking the Crossbow easier the second time around.

We’ve also got confirmation that a new map for Black Ops Cold War Zombies’ Outbreak mode is coming soon. We imagine that this expansion is almost certain to drop in the Season 2 Reloaded update.

There’s also a major weapon balance patch coming in Black Ops Cold War Season 2 Reloaded. We’re hoping that this will finally be the end of Cold War’s most overpowered Multiplayer weapon.

Finally, a new leak confirms that 8 more Call of Duty map remakes are coming to Cold War. And renowned leaker Tom Henderson believes that we could see some returning locations in Season 2 Reloaded.

Black Ops Cold War Season 2 Reloaded File Size and Release Date

At last, we know the approximate file size for Black Ops Cold War Season 2 Reloaded, thanks to a new update to the PlayStation database.

According to PlayStation Game Size on Twitter, the PS5 update for Black Ops Cold War is set to be approximately 4.6GB. This is likely to be similar on other platforms as well when the pre-load goes live.

In total this brings the game’s file size up to a staggering 119.3GB, making it quite the drain on hard drive space.

As for the update’s release date, Season 2 Reloaded is likely going to be dropping on March 31/April 1, fans believe. The Cold War updates tend to launch on Thursdays, and Treyarch appears to be teasing a release on this day.

However, a new leak actually reveals that the Season 2 Reloaded release date is set for Tuesday, March 30. If this is indeed the case, be ready for a pre-load on the 29th.

And with Black Ops Cold War Season 3’s release date arriving not long after that, it’s only logical for Season 2 Reloaded to drop soon.

It could be that the next major update is when we finally see the new Warzone map in action. After all, a new leak recently revealed our first look at the second Warzone map. And what’s more, a rumor predicts that the next Warzone map will have a much larger player count!

Anything new addition sounds good right now, as players hate the new Zombies outbreak in Warzone.

Cold War is a joke. An update on April 1st would make more sense.
