Black Ops Cold War Season 2 Leaks All Upcoming Weapons

There are 4 weapons that appear to be coming to Black Ops Cold War in Season 2, and new leaks might have just revealed them early.

Black Ops Cold War’s second season promises to be a big one, as we move into the fourth month of the game’s lifespan. After a shaky start, Treyarch needs to make big moves to keep the players interested.

And it seems that as part of the Season 2 content, the developer is giving players 4 new weapons to try out.

In the latest Black Ops Cold War update, players are finding more than just the Firebase Z Zombies map waiting for them. In fact, delving into the game’s files reveals a plethora of never-seen-before content.

And that includes leaks for all of Cold War Season 2’s upcoming weapons.

All New Guns in Black Ops Cold War Season 2

According to dataminer Tailsdoll711 on Twitter, there are 4 new guns coming to Black Ops Cold War Season 2. Not all of the weapons will likely be present at launch, however.

Going by the way the developer handled Season 1, we imagine that only a couple of guns will launch on Cold War Season 2’s release day. After that, we’ll get the other weapons throughout the season, just like the Streetsweeper’s addition.

On top of these new weapons, we also know that Cold War Season 2 will have a Flamethrower Scorestreak. This was first teased back in December, and we initially believed it to be a mid-Season 1 drop.

UPDATE: Now a Crossbow has been leaked for Black Ops Cold War in addition to the weapons below!

Cold War’s New Sniper Rifle – NTW-20

The first weapon leak that we know about is a new Black Ops Cold War sniper rifle: the NTW-20. This new bolt action weapon will offer a one-shot kill to the head, chest, and shoulders.

Interestingly, past leaks did confirm a new sniper in Cold War Season 2. However, most fans believed that this would be the Dragunov.

It looks like everyone was mistaken, however, as the NTW-20 is a powerhouse of a rifle and it’s already in the game files.

Black Ops Cold War Season 2 New SMG – AI-LC10

The second weapon coming to Black Ops Cold War Season 2 is an SMG named the AI-LC10. So far, our details on this new gun are limited as the SMG is not a real-world weapon.

According to TailsDoll711, both of these weapons do contain models in the Warzone game files, however.

What’s more, we know that the AI-LC10 is a fully automatic weapon, which may well compete with weapons such as the MP5 and the MAC-10.

New E-Tool in Black Ops Cold War Season 2

Just like in Season 1, Black Ops Cold War is about to get 2 new melee weapons. In the ongoing update, both the Sledgehammer and Wakizashi came mid-season, each with their own in-game challenges.

It appears that Cold War Season 2 has a similar setup on the way. First up is the E-Tool, a “military style tri-fold entrenching shovel.”

Although usually this shovel would be used to dig trenches, it is reportedly “equally effective as an ancillary weapon in close quarters combat.”

Black Ops Cold War Season 2 Machete Leaks

There will also be a Machete coming to the game that is described as being a “durable steel blade, tempered to maximum toughness.” Hopefully the Machete is a response for Cold War players calling for a major Knife buff.

Both the E-Tool and Machete will come with challenges to complete before players can unlock them. Hopefully, neither will be plagued by the same issues that players experience when unlocking the Cold War Sledgehammer.

The same leaker is also finding evidence that Samantha Maxis will be the next Cold War and Warzone Operator.

Hopefully, Season 2 brings improvements to Black Ops Cold War’s new League Play mode. Although the Ranked mode is finally in the game, Cold War fans hate League Play’s implementation.
