Find out if the new Black Ops Cold War playlist update has any of your favorite game modes.
Treyarch has announced that Black Ops Cold War playlist updates will now happen on Thursdays. While this doesn’t really change much for players, it does mean they’ll be able to play some new game modes tomorrow.
New Game Modes in Cold War Playlist Update
Firstly, Raid + Crossroads Strike 24/7 are coming in the playlist update. These are two of the most popular maps in the game right now as they offer varied gameplay for gunfights at all ranges.
Gunfight Blueprints will bring some intense 2v2 skirmishes as part of the new playlist. Players will have a loadout that changes every two rounds to keep them on their toes.
The playlist will also include Dirty Bomb Duos. Players can grab a friend and collect as much uranium as they can to set off the dirty bombs.
The new playlist update isn’t all change. Two fan-favorite playlists will carry on.
Nuketown 24/7 will continue to be in rotation along with Prop Hunt. These have both been hits with players across the festive Period so it makes sense that Treyarch is keeping them in.
Face Off is also staying, for players who prefer a smaller 3v3 experience. These will be hectic respawn game modes on Gunfight maps.
This featured playlist might be perfect if you want to unlock the Cold War Sledgehammer quickly.
The Cold War playlist update is great news, but there are still a number of bugs in the game that Treyarch hasn’t fixed yet. Daily Challenges are completely broken in Black Ops Cold War.
There is also another glitch that makes the VTOL scorestreak completely useless. Let’s hope that the developer deals with this better than how Treyarch compensated this player who has his account wiped.
Players might also want to know what fan-favorite mode is returning to Warzone.
