The first post-launch content update for the latest Call of Duty title is finally almost here. Here's when Nuketown is coming to Black Ops Cold War.
Nuketown '84 is set to be the first DLC map coming to Black Ops Cold War, releasing just weeks after the game's initial launch. Fans are already eagerly awaiting the arrival of the beloved map's new remake.
This is not least because Black Ops Cold War only has 7 maps in the game to-date. Already, players are starting to feel like the multiplayer mode is a little lacking in content.
Hopefully, Nuketown will be one of those maps that is just endlessly replayable, as it was in the original Black Ops. This is especially true because there's good news for Nuketown fans in Black Ops Cold War.
Nuketown '84 24/7 Is Coming to Black Ops Cold War
According to new reports, Nuketown '84 will launch with a 24/7 Nuketown playlist. This means there will be no wait to enjoy the new map, and players can jump right into the action.
What's more, Black Ops Cold War players will also receive double XP and weapon XP for playing. This offer isn't just restricted to Nuketown games, but those that want to get their fill of the new map can do so with some bonus experience points.
The bonus XP will be dropping alongside the Nuketown '84 update and last until November 30 - but when is the map releasing?
When is Nuketown '84 Releasing?
Nuketown '84 will be in-game today, November 24, from 10 AM PT/ 1 PM ET. For fans in the UK, that's 6 PM GMT.
Be sure to drop in and take advantage of the double XP offer while you enjoy a return to what looks to be a classic Nuketown clone. We've got new Nuketown screenshots to show you exactly what's coming.
Players that login before early December will also be given a free Nuketown weapon bundle. If this isn't all the incentive you need to drop back in on Black Ops Cold War, we don't know what it'll take.
But perhaps you'll find your answer in the upcoming Black Ops Cold War Season 1.
