It’s been a long wait since Black Ops Cold War’s November release date but the Multiplayer title finally has a Tactical Nuke Scorestreak in Season 3 Reloaded.
Although Black Ops Cold War is all about going nuclear, there’s never been a Nuke in the game’s multiplayer. In fact, there’s never been a Nuke Killstreak or Scorestreak in any Treyarch multiplayer to date.
That is, until now. Finally, the fans have petitioned Treyarch to drop a Nuke into Black Ops Cold War multiplayer – at least in this new game mode.
Of course, we already saw one Nuke drop in Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season 3. But now, the catastrophic event is becoming more common, with its own Scorestreak!
In Die Hardpoint, the new 80s action hero-inspired game mode, players can finally drop a Nuke in Black Ops Cold War. Here’s how it works:
How to Get a Nuke Scorestreak in Black Ops Cold War
To get the Nuke Scorestreak in Black Ops Cold War, you’ll need to achieve 24 kills without dying in the new Die Hardpoint mode.
Of course, this is harder than you’d think, especially as you’ll need to get a kill every 15 seconds or so just to stay alive. In Die Hardpoint, players have a Cranked-esque timer that will cause them to explode if it hits zero.
You can boost the timer by 15 seconds by eliminating an enemy, and standing on your Hardpoint will pause the timer temporarily. What’s more, as you rack up kills, you’ll get boosts to movement speed, weapon handling, ADS speed, slide speed, and even a larger death explosion when your luck runs out.
But if you can survive the aggressive new game mode for long enough to rack up 24 kills without dying, you’ll be able to drop a Tactical Nuke on your friends and foes alike. Strangely enough, while you’ll get to wipe out the server completely, the Nuke won’t end the game.

World’s First Double Tactical Nuke?
Some players are taking this as a challenge, however, and already we’re seeing reports of Black Ops Cold War users dropping two Nukes in one game! Take a look at YouTuber BAMS who claims to have the world’s first double Tactical Nuke in Black Ops Cold War.
Hilariously, the YouTuber actually loses the match, despite having 30,000 points, due to spending only a second on the Hardpoint. And if that doesn’t sum up Black Ops Cold War, we don’t know what does.
You can even hear the terrible sound quality of John McClane’s ‘Yippee Ki Yay M*therfucker’ as the Nuke drops, which is very fitting. Although Rambo and John McClane are in Call of Duty now, players have serious complaints about the Operators’ voices.
