Black Ops Cold War Zombies is a complex mode, full of secrets to discover and Perks to collect. Now, it seems that four new additions to the Perk roster are coming to the game.
During their time in Die Maschine, Black Ops Cold War Zombies players must try and survive waves of the undead. Thankfully, there are a number of Perk dispensers to make things easier.
Currently, Die Maschine is home to six unique Perks, each purchasable in-game. There's Juggernog, Quick Revive, Elemental Pop, Speed Cola, Deadshot Daquiri, and Stamin-up.
However, it seems that Treyarch isn't done adding Perks just yet. In fact, new leaked Perk jingles suggest that there are actually four new additions coming to Cold War Zombies.
Four New Black Ops Cold War Zombies Perks Leaked
Whether these Perks are set to come to Die Maschine, or they're being saved for a new Zombies map is unclear. What we do know is that this would be one hard leak to fake.
Each of the Perks comes with its own jingle, and that would take some real production value on a leaker's part. So it's probably safe to assume that these Perks are real and coming in the future.
The first new addition is Mule Kick, a perk that tends to allow players to hold a third weapon in-game. This could be particularly useful when managing ammo in later waves.
There's also Double Tap, a returning fan-favorite Perk. This upgrade allows players to fire two shots with each pull of the trigger, doubling any weapon's fire rate.
PHD is making a return to the game, without either Flopper or Slider in its name. This suggests that the Perk will simply be making players immune to explosive damage, rather than allowing players to deal out punishment themselves.
Finally, we have Tombstone, an interesting Perk that doesn't activate until a player is downed. When going down, Cold War players will immediately die and drop a Tombstone in their place.
Upon respawning, it's possible to collect all previous gear from the Tombstone, assuming they can make it that far. All four new jingles can be heard in the new leak by YouTuber FireMonkey 2 below.
It's important to note that these Perks are yet to be confirmed by Treyarch at this point. However, we do know that new Cold War Multiplayer Perks are also coming to the game, so a few new additions to Zombies also seems likely.
The developer has confirmed that new Zombie modes are coming in Cold War Season 1, after all. Perhaps these Perks will make their debut alongside the December 10 update.
Once the new Perks are in the game, don't forget to upgrade them with your spare Aetherium Crystals. If you're finding that this currency is in short-supply, check out our guide on how to earn Raw Aetherium Crystals in Black Ops Cold War Zombies.
