There's a new weird Black Ops Cold War glitch out there, and it's making players drink their own Molotov Cocktails.
Black Ops Cold War isn't known for being glitch-free. In fact, the latest game in the Call of Duty franchise is quite the buggy mess.
But while some bugs ruin your time in-game, others are just plain hilarious. And just like the bug that makes a Cold War player's legs run away without their body, it's safe to say that this new find falls safely under the funnier category.
Now, Black Ops Cold War players are finding a way to drink their own Molotov when playing the game's Zombies mode. Because is there really a better use for alcohol when facing down the undead hordes?
Black Ops Cold War Molotov Drinking Glitch
According to users on the Black Ops Cold War subreddit, there's a common glitch that makes players drink their own Lethal equipment. When grabbing a Perk can, the drinking animation often bugs out and leaves players downing whatever is in their left hand.
However, instead of a Perk drink, this is often Molotovs, Grenades, C4, and even Aether Shrouds. One player even reports that it happens every time they grab their first Perk in Die Maschine.
In that case, downing a Molotov is the least of your worries. At least if you don't light the bottle in advance, you're basically just drinking alcohol.
We'd like to hope this is a leak for Treyarch's upcoming, fire-breathing zombie-killing technique. But sadly, this is just another one of Cold War's abundance of gameplay glitches.
This isn't even the best glitch in the undead mode as players have discovered a way to get unlimited XP in Black Ops Cold War Zombies. Perhaps these glitches and more will be fixed in the new Black Ops Cold War Season 1 update launch.
But we think that's not likely to be the case, considering how much Treyarch has to work on. One thing the developer confirms will soon get a fix is the bug that means Cold War players aren't getting their weapon camos.
