Black Ops Cold War Fire Team Dirty Bomb Playlist Fix is Coming Soon

Treyarch says it will fix the Fire Team Dirty Bomb playlist in Black Ops Cold War soon.

Fire Team Dirty Bomb is a game mode that tasks teams of four to collect unstable uranium. They must then deliver the uranium to a bomb site and detonate the bombs to get points.

It is played on large-scale maps which players parachute into, much like Warzone. In fact, if rumors are to be believed, the new Warzone map will include areas from the Fire Team Dirty Bomb mode.

However, it is the maps that are the problem with the Fire Team Dirty Bomb playlist.

Cold War Fire Team Playlist Broken?

There are 3 maps for Fire Team Dirty Bomb. The two that launched with Cold War were the snowy Alpine and the forest of Ruka.

Treyarch then added the Sanatorium map as part of the huge Season 1 Reloaded update. This features a huge lake as well as the new Tactical Raft vehicle.

However, the integration of Sanatorium into the map pool seemed to mess up the playlist. After adding Sanatorium a couple of weeks ago, it appears that Alpine is now the only map in the playlist.

This is not the first time there have been issues with the Fire Team Dirty Bomb playlist. Previously, the playlist would act in the complete opposite way and would never drop players into Alpine.

Treyarch to Fix Fire Team Map Rotation

Luckily, Treyarch has responded to the issue and plans to fix it soon. This is good as players have gotten tired of playing on the same map over and over again.

They have added the issue to the Black Ops Cold War Trello Board, where the developer puts all of the known issues with the game.

Treyarch has also added this Black Ops Cold War thermal scope glitch to the Trello Board.

Community Manager Josh Torres has also provided an update saying: “We’ve identified the issue, are working toward a fix, and have reintroduced Sanatorium 24/7 on January 25, 2020 at 5pm/PT. Players may continue to see Alpine only when searching in FTDB modes with mixed maps.

While players can hop into Sanatorium in its own playlist, Ruka is still unavailable for the time being.

This isn’t the only bug affecting Black Ops Cold War at the moment. Many players are suffering from massive lag spikes in Cold War.

Meanwhile, elements of the game are also coming under a lot of scrutiny from fans. Black Ops Cold War players want big changes to the game’s underwhelming camos.

Some gamers are still enjoying the game, though. Cold War players might want to see this amazing clip of quite possibly the best play of all time.
