With the February 4 update for Black Ops Cold War fast approaching – here’s what new content to expect.
The next major Black Ops Cold War update is almost here, and it’s bringing some exciting content to the game. With both Multiplayer and Zombies mode getting some much-needed additions, this is the best update we’ve seen in a while.
This will likely be one of the final updates of Black Ops Cold War Season 1, meaning that Treyarch is pulling out all the stops.
Here’s what’s to come when the Black Ops Cold War update releases on February 4.
Black Ops Cold War February 4 Update Patch Notes
There’s a lot to enjoy in the February 4 update to Black Ops Cold War – here’s what we know so far:
Cold War Multiplayer
It’s time for Black Ops Cold War Multiplayer to get its next map, and this is one of the most exciting additions yet.
The next map to arrive in Cold War is Express, a classic fan-favorite from Black Ops 2. This is actually the first time that this map has ever been remastered, and fans are eager to see it in action once again.
Express is set in an American high-speed rail system station and features close-quarters action and fast-moving transportation.
Players should take advantage of the great lines of sight along the tracks, but stay well clear of the incoming trains.
Also dropping on February 4 is some major changes to Black Ops Cold War playlists. This includes the addition of a brand-new 40 player Endurance gamemode to Fireteam: Dirty Bomb.
In this mode, players will once again be tasked with collecting uranium to arm various Dirty Bombs. However, detonating one bomb will bring another one online, in a true test of endurance.
To win, you’ll need to achieve a score of 1000, double the usual Fireteam: Dirty Bomb limits. Given that this game mode is one of the best ways to level up weapons fast in Black Ops Cold War, Fireteam just got more useful than ever before.
Ruka and Alpine will both be playable locations, as well as Sanatorium. The new Fireteam: Dirty Bomb map actually may have given us a look at the next Warzone map.
But that’s not all that’s coming, as Treyarch is confirming that Prop Hunt is getting some new maps to play on. Since December, fans have loved the addition to the game, and many users will be glad to see it getting support.
Black Ops Cold War Zombies New Map
But quite possibly the most exciting Black Ops Cold War content drop is for Zombies mode. Season 1 Reloaded is finally bringing a brand-new Zombies map to the game.
With Firebase Z, players finally have a second map to explore in Black Ops Cold War Zombies. And it’s looking like a big one.
However, now we have an official trailer for Cold War Zombies Firebase Z which looks simply incredible.
