In Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies, there’s more reason than ever to spend your hard-earned Essence on extra firepower.
Black Ops 6 Zombies isn’t just a return to the classic, round-based format. It’s also a major upgrade on Treyarch’s iconic Zombies formula, and everything we hear about it just makes us more excited to try it for ourselves.
In a recent Intel Drop, Treyarch developers explained some of the changes coming in the newest undead survival mode.
Wall Buys & Mystery Box Guns Just Got More Powerful
Over on the Call of Duty YouTube channel, Treyarch is showing off more gameplay from Black Ops 6 Zombies, and breaking down some of its core mechanics.
In the video, the team discusses the new Augment system and the return of GobbleGums, but one extra reveal caught our attention.
With Weapon Builds, Black Ops 6 Zombies players can save their favorite weapon loadouts before heading into a match and set that customization as a ‘Zombie Build.’
Then, purchasing that weapon from a Wall Buy or rolling it in the Mystery Box will dispense your own, personally handcrafted version of that weapon.
This is a significant upgrade over how the process worked in the past when players had to make do with a specific set of attachments or simply a base version of the gun.
Now, when you get hold of your favorite weapon in Zombies, it’ll already be tailored to suit your preferences.
Players can even use Weapon Blueprints from the COD Store or Battle Passes to change their Zombie Build appearances and use them in the survival mode!
With this, your Zombies experience just got even more customizable. And having some powerful builds on hand is sure to mean we’ll be less reliant on Black Ops 6’s powerful array of Wonder Weapons too, which should lead to more variety in high-round runs.
