We finally have our release date for the fourth Black Ops 6 Zombies map, and it’s coming sooner than we thought!
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies is off to an incredible start, with three round-based survival maps already in the game.
Now, as the ex-members of Requiem set off to find the Sentinel Artifact at a dig site near Citadelle des Morts, we’re finally ready to encounter Richtofen and find out if it’s possible to save Samantha Maxis.
And it looks like we’ll be arriving at our destination sooner than we ever thought possible!
Map 4 Release Date in Black Ops 6 Zombies
Treyarch has now confirmed that the next Black Ops 6 Zombies round-based map, The Tomb, will release with the launch of Season 2 on January 28, 2025.
Only a few weeks after the release of Citadelle des Morts, we’re already getting another round-based Zombies map in Black Ops 6!
That’s an incredibly tight launch schedule from Treyarch, who will have delivered four fully-fledged maps since Black Ops 6’s release in late October.

By contrast, the team’s last title, Black Ops Cold War, only released four maps during its entire lifespan. Call of Duty: Vanguard, which had its Zombies experience developed by Treyarch, also had four maps available by the end of its development.
To think that Black Ops 6 will have four maps playable by Season 2 is amazing news for the Zombies community, and shows just how much Treyarch has prioritized the game mode.

It certainly helps matters that the team reportedly had four years to develop Black Ops 6, despite Treyarch assisting with other titles along the way.
TheGhostOfHope, who initially leaked The Tomb’s release date being at the start of Season 2, appears to believe that we’ll get at least one more Zombies map after this too, declaring early reports indicating there would only be four round-based maps to be outdated information.
Of course, it’s worth noting that the leaker appears to be speculating on this matter. Therefore, we recommend taking it with a pinch of salt for now.
Personally, given that we already have four maps in-game by the start of Season 2, we certainly expect another round-based experience or two to arrive before the end of Black Ops 6’s lifespan.
And if the quality of the maps is as high as the ones already in the game, we’re certain this release will be remembered fondly as one of the best COD Zombies experiences of all time.
