Whether you’re planning to buy the game or not, you can play Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies for free this month – but there’s a catch!
Black Ops 6 is off to a flying start, with Season 1 bringing even more content to an already impressive launch offering.
But if you’ve been holding off on buying this year’s Call of Duty title, you might be happy to hear that it’s playable completely free of charge this month.
Undead survival fans can play both Terminus and Liberty Falls without spending a penny, but you’re out of luck if you were hoping for a free pass to Citadelle des Morts.
Black Ops 6 Free Trial Dates
Activision has officially confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is playable for free from December 13 – December 20, 2024.
An exact kick-off time is yet to be announced, but most likely we’ll see the Black Ops 6 free trial go live on December 13 at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM GMT.
The week-long free trial includes a variety of Multiplayer maps and modes, but it also provides full access to Black Ops 6 Zombies’ launch offerings.
This means that Liberty Falls and Terminus are both fully playable, and fans can even unlock their exclusive completion rewards!
What’s more, both Standard and Directed Modes are available, giving players the chance to complete the Easter Eggs in a guided setting if they prefer.

Where’s Citadelle des Morts?
Unfortunately, the new Season 1 Reloaded map, Citadelle des Morts is not available to play during the Black Ops 6 free trial.
This is likely to encourage those who enjoyed their time with Black Ops 6 Zombies to unlock the full game in order to keep playing.
However, if you haven’t played Treyarch’s new release yet, the two included launch maps offer more than enough playtime between them to keep you occupied! After all, players are still uncovering more secrets inside Terminus and Liberty Falls to this day.
Don’t forget that the complete game is also available for no added charge on Xbox Game Pass! If you enjoy your time during the free trial but you don’t want to shell out any extra cash, why not grab a month of Game Pass Ultimate or PC and continue from where you left off?
Unfortunately, this isn’t available on PlayStation devices, but Xbox console or PC players can take full advantage of Microsoft’s subscription service.
