If you’re playing Black Ops 6 already, you’ll likely want to check out Treyarch’s new round-based Zombies maps and begin hunting for secrets.
Unfortunately, while the game is officially out in parts of the world, letting Black Ops 6 fans pretend to be in New Zealand to play early, Zombies mode isn’t quite complete just yet.
Users can still hop into the undead survival mode and begin learning the ropes. But when it comes to Main Quest or Side Quest Easter Eggs, you’ll need to wait a little longer.
What Time Does the Black Ops 6 Main Quest Go Live?
The Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies Main and Side Quest Easter Eggs were enabled at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM BST on October 25.
This is the case for both Terminus and Liberty Falls, meaning that the Zombies experience will be missing a fair bit of content if you’re playing early.
Why Are the Easter Eggs Disabled?
It is likely that the Black Ops 6 Zombies Easter Eggs are temporarily disabled in order for all players to have a chance to pick up the game before the Main Quest hunt goes live.
Easter Egg hunting has been a staple of the COD Zombies experience for years, and Treyarch likely doesn’t want to give players a headstart just because they’re pretending to play from New Zealand.
What’s more, with PC and console players having different launch times, waiting until a few hours into the official October 25 launch day seems like the fairest way to handle Easter Eggs going live.
Now, all players will be able to start their hunt and discover secrets together, rather than having the experience spoiled for them.
