A new ARG for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies has revealed three brand-new images of the second launch map: Liberty Falls.
Just when we thought that Terminus looked like the best COD Zombies map in years, along came Liberty Falls, which somehow looks even better!
We recently got the full cinematic intro to Liberty Falls, featuring Edward Richtofen and the return of Samantha Maxis.
And now, a new mobile phone number teaser has revealed not one but three new images of the upcoming map – and it looks incredible!
All New Images of Liberty Falls
A new mobile ARG (Alternate Reality Game) has revealed three new images of Liberty Falls.
By messaging +1 (202) 918-3022 via Whatsapp, players are able to interact with a special Call of Duty account and receive teaser images.
Recently, users received two new images of Liberty Falls from the Call of Duty marketing account. And when replying to the prompt with ‘West Virginia,’ they received one additional image of what looks to be the Dark Aether.
The Church
The first image appears to show a church in Liberty Falls, an area of the Zombies map we’ve never seen before.
Some fans take this to suggest that the entire town could be explorable, or we could travel between areas using a vehicle, much like the classic map: TranZit.
The Wonder Weapon
Another potential indicator that Liberty Falls is TranZit-inspired is the return of the Jet Gun.
This powerful Wonder Weapon made its debut in the Black Ops 2 Zombies map and has now featured in several marketing images for Liberty Falls.
The iconic weapon is crafted out of a plane turbine and sucks up enemies to kill them instantly. However, holding down the fire button causes the Jet Gun to overheat and break apart.
As we already know, there are already several confirmed Wonder Weapons in Black Ops 6 Zombies, and the Jet Gun is just the tip of the iceberg!
The Dark Aether
Finally, the secret image accessed by replying ‘West Virginia’ to the mobile ARG reveals what looks to be a Dark Aether version of Liberty Falls.
Like in Cold War Zombies, it appears that we’ll be able to transport ourselves into the alternate dimension during the game, and we might even be able to see the portal used in this very image.
Although this could just be the interior of the church seen in Image 1, Zombies YouTuber MrDalekJD points out there are some real similarities between this picture and the church from another Black Ops 2 map: Buried.
