Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies fans may have discovered the new best weapon for slaying the undead, as the AMR Mod 4 Sniper arrives in the game.
Christmas has come early for Zombies fans, particularly ones that like to dish out huge amounts of damage with a single shot.
Usually, Sniper Rifles are not the preferred method of dealing with zombies, due to their slow rate of fire and lackluster damage at higher rounds. On top of those drawbacks, it’s also harder to trigger Ammo Mods when you’re firing fewer bullets, and ammo stockpiles are often quite low too.
However, despite being a Sniper, one new addition to Black Ops 6 Zombies could be the best weapon in the game.
AMR Mod 4 Sniper Is Amazing in Black Ops 6 Zombies
The new AMR Mod 4 Sniper Rifle is the newest and perhaps the best gun in Black Ops 6 Zombies thanks to the following features:
High Damage Per Second
As with most Snipers, the AMR Mod 4 delivers exceptionally high damage per hit, but what makes it even better is its high rate of fire.
When Pack-a-Punched, the new Sniper Rifle can fire rapidly, as though it were a Marksman Rifle, dishing out massive damage to base enemies, elites, and even bosses. Until you reach extremely high rounds, this weapon is a one-hit-kill to most undead, and it only gets better with upgrades.
Armor Piercing & Critical Damage
When facing off against armored enemies, such as the Citadelle des Morts boss ‘The Guardian,’ players need a way to easily penetrate the armor to deal maximum damage.
The AMR Mod 4 is amazing at breaking down The Guardian’s armor and exposing its weak spots. And when you’re fighting a boss with a glowing weak spot, the gun is capable of dealing around 12,000 damage per shot to those vulnerable areas.
This makes it perhaps the best gun to bring into any boss fight, at least when you’ve upgraded it sufficiently.
Best Loadout for AMR Mod 4 in Zombies
According to COD Zombies expert MrDalekJD, the best loadout for taking the AMR Mod 4 into Black Ops 6 Zombies is as follows:
- Optic: Kepler Microflex
- Muzzle: Muzzle Break
- Barrel: Reinforced Barrel
- Stockpad: Marksman Pad
- Magazine: Extended Mag II
- Rear Grip: Quickdraw Grip
- Comb: Light Riser
- Fire Mods: Rapid Fire or Recoil Springs
How to Unlock the AMR Mod 4 Sniper
Players can unlock the AMR Mod 4 Sniper by collecting Jolly Archies during the Archie’s Festival Frenzy event.
These Christmas-inspired figurines can be found whenever players eliminate enemies in Multiplayer, undead in Zombies, or open caches in Warzone.
After unlocking all 12 prizes in the new event (for a combined 280 Jolly Archies), you’ll be able to unlock the AMR Mod 4 Sniper for free!
But the good news is that all players will receive the AMR Mod 4 Sniper and all other event rewards for free on January 2, 2025! This is due to the Archie’s Festival Frenzy event having major issues, and giving out thousands of Jolly Archies to users for free.
