A hilarious new glitch in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies gives one player access to akimbo Ray Guns, making them near-unkillable on The Tomb!

The Ray Gun has been the most iconic weapon in Zombies history, ever since it made its debut back in the original undead survival mode in World at War.

The first-ever Wonder Weapon returns once again in Black Ops 6 Zombies, and it’s still one of the strongest guns in the game. But, as one player recently discovered, it’s even stronger when dual-wielded!

Akimbo Ray Gun Glitch in Black Ops 6

Over on the COD Zombies subreddit, one user shared a clip of their friend accidentally triggering a glitch that grants them akimbo Ray Guns.

We can’t tell for sure what triggered the glitch in the first place, but it’s likely something to do with the Shock Mimic grab, which seems to interact with the player at the same time that the elite zombie dies.

In recent weeks, we’ve seen both Shock Mimics and Amalgams causing issues due to their grab attacks sending players under the ground or into similar impossible spaces.

Therefore, we wouldn’t be surprised to see a new bug spawn from the handsy enemy types.

It’s also possible that this glitch has something to do with the user choosing to play in third-person mode, which isn’t as popular as its first-person counterpart, and may lead to some strange interactions.

How to Dual-Wield Ray Guns

Unfortunately, there is no official way to dual-wield akimbo Ray Guns in Black Ops 6 Zombies. The only way we’ve seen it possible is via the seemingly unreplicable glitch above.

On top of that, it doesn’t seem that Treyarch intended this to be possible, judging by how strange the Ray Gun looks in the user’s left hand during animations.

Therefore, we doubt there’ll be an actual Easter Egg that allows us to use akimbo Ray Guns anywhere in Black Ops 6 Zombies. However, we did see something similar back in Black Ops 3’s Gorod Krovi map!

In the older Black Ops title, players could dual wield the GKZ-45 and the Ray Gun Mark III which could be fired together to create a mini black hole.

If a user could get akimbo Ray Guns in Black Ops 6 and Pack-a-Punch them to Tier 3, they’d be able to make short work of almost any challenging encounter in the game.

But, hilariously, they’d still be completely useless against The Tomb’s Main Quest boss!
