The Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Beta brings back the Winner’s Circle, but this time the feature is drawing major complaints from fans.

The Black Ops 6 Beta is finally here, and largely it seems that players are enjoying their time with Treyarch’s upcoming shooter.

Despite a fair few complaints about the Beta, feedback has generally been positive surrounding Call of Duty’s 2024 release.

However, one of the most prevalent complaints has to be the return of the Winner’s Circle.

What Is the Winner’s Circle in Black Ops 6?

The Winner’s Circle is a returning mechanic in Black Ops 6 that first appeared in Black Ops 3 and has since featured in Infinite Warfare, WWII, and COD Mobile.

The feature displays the top three players from the winning team (or the entire match in Free-for-All modes) at the end of a game.

In Black Ops 6, users can show off their Operator and skin, and can even emote while featured in the Winner’s Circle.

Why Don’t Players Like the Winner’s Circle?

One of the biggest issues with the Winner’s Circle as it is right now is that it’s fully unskippable.

After a game comes to an end, players are forced to watch the ‘Best Play’ footage, and then they must also sit through the entire Winner’s Circle before finally heading back to the lobby.

If it was possible to back out early or skip the Winner’s Circle animation, chances are that fewer fans would be taking issue with the feature’s existence.

But, as some fans point out, the Winner’s Circle likely isn’t going anywhere. After all, it’s a great way for Activision to show off what real money cosmetics your opponents have.

We’re personally on the side of the fans who are labeling this version of the Winner’s Circle a bit cringey. However, the new-and-improved Best Play feature is at least the best we’ve ever seen it in a COD title.

Luckily, Treyarch is already asking for fan feedback on the Black Ops 6 Beta. If you don’t enjoy how the Winner’s Circle affects your experience, be sure to let the team know!
