Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Multiplayer introduces a never-seen-before Field Upgrade that disguises its user as an enemy player!

It’s been a big couple of days for Call of Duty leaks. After users were able to get the Beta version of Black Ops 6 running on a jailbroken PS4, many elements of Treyarch’s upcoming title were leaked in their entirety.

Although Activision is working to copyright-strike as many leaks as possible, there’s no way to remove the information from the internet entirely.

And while users were busy leaking all weapons, and multiplayer maps in Black Ops 6, one piece of equipment stood out to us above the rest.

Black Ops 6 Sleeper Agent Field Upgrade

A brand-new Field Upgrade called ‘Sleeper Agent’ will have Black Ops 6 players suspicious of their own teams, as it allows users to disguise themselves as an enemy player.

“Infiltrate the enemy team, appearing as a friendly to them for a short duration. Kills extend the time. Gunfire and enemy content reveal your true identity”

When a player activates the Sleeper Agent Field Upgrade, they will appear as a friendly to those on the opposite team.

While in disguise, Sleeper Agents can eliminate enemy players in order to extend their disguise’s active time. Of course, enemies may wise up to your deception after being eliminated by you once.

Being shot by an enemy, or harmed by items such as grenades, neurogas, or other ‘enemy content’ will reveal your true identity. Therefore, suspicious-looking players will likely be shot by their own team in order to check for Sleeper Agents.

How Does Sleeper Agent Work?

It’s currently unclear as to whether Sleeper Agent will allow you to take the form of another player, like Team Fortress 2’s Spy, or whether your character will simply no longer appear as an enemy when viewed by those on the opposite team.

Either way, we’re certain an observant player will be able to see through a Sleeper Agent’s disguise, if they know what to look for.

Those who take the Vigilance Perk will also be immune to Sleeper Agent disguises, which might make it significantly more difficult to infiltrate enemy lines.

But in order to take Vigilance, you’ll have to give up on some of Black Ops 6’s other amazing Perks, or take the Perk Greed Wildcard to stick a fourth Perk in your loadout.

Bear in mind that all of the above information is based off a leaked build of Black Ops 6. All of it is subject to change, though we doubt it will differ in the Black Ops 6 Beta when it kicks off later this month.
