Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 finally has an official release date, but select fans will be able to take advantage of early access to play even sooner!
If you’re a hardcore Call of Duty fan, chances are you’ve already been dropping into the latest COD titles before the crowds.
After all, in recent years, Activision has been giving those who pre-order its new releases the opportunity to jump in early. And it seems Black Ops 6 won’t be breaking the trend!
Black Ops 6 Release Date
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be released on Friday, October 25, 2024.
Fans who want to experience the game a little early have the option of pre-ordering to receive early access to the Black Ops 6 Open Beta. However, both early access and the Open Beta itself have now concluded.
Unlike in past years, there will be no exclusive early access to either the full game on any platform.
Despite Microsoft now owning Call of Duty, it will not be providing exclusive benefits to fans on Xbox.
Is There Campaign Early Access?
No, Activision has confirmed that there is no form of Campaign early access for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
Curiously, when pre-ordered on the PlayStation Store, Black Ops 6 does appear to unlock one week earlier, on October 17.
However, Activision reports that there is no early access coming to any mode ahead of Black Ops 6’s release.
Thankfully, early access is not being paywalled behind more expensive editions of Black Ops 6, though there are some enticing incentives up for grabs for those who do want to pay.
