The Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Beta is well underway, and the Jackal PDW seems to be the only thing that players are using.
Whenever a new COD Beta goes live, fans are quick to find and exploit the most meta weapons.
And despite there being an abundance of guns in the Black Ops 6 Beta roster, we’re seeing one SMG dominating almost every lobby we play in.
That’s why less than 48 hours after the Beta Early Access went live, fans are demanding a nerf to the Jackal PDW.
Black Ops 6’s Best Weapon
There’s no doubt in anyone’s mind that the Jackal PDW is the best weapon in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Beta.
With a bit of tweaking, the overpowered SMG is able to hold its own at all ranges, with a devastatingly short Time to Kill and excellent movement.
Of course, it’s no surprise that the Jackal PDW dominated the meta this early. Not only is it an incredibly powerful gun, but it also appears in Black Ops 6’s first default class AND the Vault Edition Mastercraft Weapon Collection.
Fans are already calling on the Jackal to be nerfed in an upcoming Black Ops 6 Beta patch, but it’s unknown whether Treyarch is looking to adjust weapon values while the Beta is live.
“It’s actually so boring, 99% of people using the exact same loadout,” Reddit user No-University4990 writes.
We’d certainly like to see some variety in our lobbies, but it’s hard to argue against running a gun that’s head-and-shoulders above the rest.
