All of the editions and pre-order bonuses for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 have now been officially revealed.
There are three editions up for pre-order, which could cause some confusion when it comes to knowing which is best for you.
Here’s a complete breakdown of every Black Ops 6 edition you can buy, and what each one includes:
Standard Edition/Cross-Gen Bundle
The Standard Edition costs $69.99 and includes only the Black Ops 6 base game.
The Cross-Gen Bundle can also be purchased for $69.99, and includes both a current-gen and last-gen version of the Black Ops 6 base game. This bundle is not available on PC.
In addition, fans who pre-order any version of Black Ops 6 will get immediate access to the Frank Woods Operator Pack in MW3 & Warzone. These skins will also Carry Forward to Black Ops 6 on launch day.
On top of that, pre-ordering will grant users early access to the Open Beta, beginning on Friday, August 30, 2024, at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET.
Pre-ordering Black Ops 6 will also give players access to the Reflect 115 Weapon Camo in MW3 & Warzone. However, unlike the Frank Woods skins, these will not make the jump to Black Ops 6 on release day.

Vault Edition
The Vault Edition costs $99.99 and includes the following contents:
- The Black Ops 6 Base Game
- Hunter vs Hunted Operator Pack
- Mastercraft Weapon Collection
- GobbleGum Pack for Zombies
- BlackCell (1 Season)
For all those wondering if the Vault Edition is worth the price, it’s down to your individual preferences.
However, it’s worth noting that you can get the Vault Edition for just $30 by playing Black Ops 6 on Game Pass!
Pre-Order Bonuses
Woods Operator Pack
Fans who pre-order a digital copy of Black Ops 6 will additionally receive the Woods Operator Pack to use in Black Ops 6, MW3, and Warzone.
This Frank Woods-inspired bundle contains the following skins:
- Classic Woods
- Zombie Woods
- Numbers Woods
Players will instantly unlock the Classic Woods skin, and will need to earn 100,000 XP in-game twice to unlock Zombie Woods and Numbers Woods.
These are the only cosmetics confirmed to Carry Forward to Black Ops 6, meaning you’ll be able to use them in Treyarch’s upcoming title at launch.
Open Beta Early Access
Those who pre-order Black Ops 6 will be granted up to five days of early access to the game’s Beta ahead of it becoming free for all players.
The Black Ops 6 Early Access Beta will kick off on August 30, 2024, at 10 AM PT, and conclude on September 4, 2024, at 10 AM PT.
Activision has now confirmed that the Black Ops 6 Beta will take place on the following dates:
- Early Access: August 30 – September 4
- Open Beta: September 6 – 9

Reflect 115 Weapon Camo
Element 115, the mysterious element responsible for animating the undead, makes an appearance in this brand-new pre-order bonus.
Activision has just revealed that the universal Reflect 115 weapon camo will be granted to any player who pre-orders Black Ops 6 ahead of release.
From what we can tell, this camo is restricted to just MW3 and Warzone, however there’s always a chance that it could Carry Forward like the Woods Operator Pack skins.
The Reflect 115 Weapon Camo also comes with nine bonus acquisitions for Modern Warfare Zombies, including three Ray Guns!
Platforms
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
As with other recent COD titles, Black Ops 6 is available across both current and last-gen consoles. Those considering an upgrade to the Xbox Series X/S or PS5 will be able to purchase the Cross-Gen Bundle version of the game, which is playable across both generations.
However, regardless of their platform of choice, all users must maintain an online connection to play Black Ops 6.
In the FAQs over on the publisher’s website, Activision reports that a ‘continuous internet connection’ will be required to play any mode in Black Ops 6:
“To deliver the highest-quality visuals while also reducing the game’s overall storage space on your hard drive, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will use texture streaming across all game modes. This means you’ll need a continuous internet connection to play any game mode, including campaign.”
