Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s next Double XP event is just around the corner, but when will it go live?
Season 2 is almost over for Black Ops 6, and Treyarch likely gearing up to celebrate with another Double XP event.
For those who find the leveling process a little too slow (don’t we all?), Treyarch offers regular 2XP weekends to help speed up the grind.
In these special windows, Black Ops 6 fans are treated to Double XP, Double Weapon XP, and (usually) even Double GobbleGum drops. Last time, players could even get Double Battle Pass XP as well as the regular offerings!
But when will the next Double XP weekend arrive?
Black Ops 6 Next Double XP Event Date
The next Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Double XP has not yet been officially announced, but one is likely to arrive before the release of Season 3.
The Black Ops 6 Season 3 update was initially scheduled for March 20, 2025, but it has just been delayed to April 3, 2025.
Treyarch often offers players a Double XP weekend to celebrate the end of a season, so we expect a new 2XP period to go live shortly before Season 3 arrives.
Our most recent Double XP event kicked off on Valentine’s Day and concluded on February 18, meaning we’re likely due another bonus XP weekend very soon.

In the last 2XP weekend, Double Battle Pass XP was also made available, helping players finish their Battle Passes. The final Double XP weekend of Season 1 was the first to offer Double Battle Pass XP, so we can hope that it returns once again in what will no doubt be the last bonus period of Season 2.
Most Double XP weekends do not feature Double Battle Pass XP, so we highly recommend taking advantage of this bonus while you can.
It looks as though Treyarch is willing to offer bonus Battle Pass XP from time to time – but the bonus is almost certainly not going to become a regular part of Double XP events.
