Black Ops 6 Countdown
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is set to release on October 25, 2024.
Although an exact release time has yet to be confirmed, the game is expected to have a rolling regional launch time that begins at 12 AM New Zealand Time on October 25, 2024.
This actually works out as 1 AM ET / 4 AM PT on October 24, 2024 for the US, meaning console users could get access earlier than anticipated. Going off previous releases, the game will be fully available worldwide by 7 PM ET / 10 PM PT on October 24, 2024.
It’s much less complex over in the PC community where fans should instead experience a global release time of October 25 at 12 AM ET.

Countdown By Region
If Activision reveals a different launch time for this year’s Call of Duty title, we’ll update this article accordingly. However, based on previous launches, these should be the times to watch:

As usual, the US release will go live as soon as it hits midnight on the East Coast, which means that those in other time zones, such as Pacific Time, can actually start playing on October 24.
Black Ops 6 will likely have a pre-load available to install a day or two prior to release and fans will need to free up a whopping 144 GB according to early reports.
Will the New Zealand Trick Work?
Yes, judging by previous years, the New Zealand trick should work for Black Ops 6.
For those who aren’t aware, switching your Xbox region to New Zealand in your System settings will allow players to access the game almost a day early in the US.
This is due to New Zealand being the first to receive access to Black Ops 6 in the global rollout.
However, with Call of Duty titles, fans also need to change their Activision account region to New Zealand, which can be done on the publisher’s website.
After both regions are changed, fans should be able to play Black Ops 6 beginning at 12 AM NZT, even before the rollout arrives in your region!
