Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 isn’t out yet, but Treyarch has heard your Beta feedback and made fantastic changes to the Winner’s Circle feature.

At the end of every Multiplayer game of Black Ops 6, players are made to watch the Winner’s Circle play out.

The Winner’s Circle is a post-match celebration that highlights the top three players from the winning team (or the entire match in Free-for-All modes).

So far, we’ve seen dozens of players complain about the Winner’s Circle being cringe-worthy and featuring too much emote spam. Now, Treyarch is fixing at least one of those issues.

All Winner’s Circle Changes

In a new Road to Launch blog post, Treyarch has revealed that major changes are coming to Black Ops 6’s Winner’s Circle.

These include:

  • Shortening the Winner’s Circle overall duration
  • Players can now only activate 1 Emote each
  • Simplified the Emote menu
  • Improved graphical fidelity and lighting

We’re extremely happy with the first two points in particular, as spending less time watching players emoting means spending less time waiting to go back to the lobby.

Winner's Circle in Black Ops 6 Beta

What’s more, the constant emote spam was not only getting old by the end of the Beta, but we found it was just a bit cringy to watch.

Other players seemed to like it though, so hopefully this change still allows those users who want to flex their accomplishment to do so in style.

For the time being, Black Ops 6 players are locked into the post-match screens after finishing their Multiplayer games, with no way to quit early and get queuing once again.

Maybe one day, we’ll even get the option to leave the game before watching the Winner’s Circle.

However, we expect that day will never arrive, given that Treyarch would prefer that users get to check out premium skins and emotes that other players have paid for.

Don’t forget that Treyarch is still asking for fan feedback on the Black Ops 6 Beta. If you want to see further changes to the Winner’s Circle or other mechanics, be sure to let the team know!
