The best weapon loadouts in Warzone Season 3 are finally here, according to the battle royale analyst himself: JGOD.
If you’ve spent any time in Warzone lately, you’ll know that big changes are afoot for the battle royale. After months of broken weapons dominating the battlefield, we’re finally in a good place once again.
In fact, Warzone players love the current Season 3 weapon meta for its balance. It feels like every weapon is viable once again, and players aren’t forced into playing the lastest overpowered gun.
YouTuber JGOD is known for his in-depth analysis of Warzone weaponry, and the content creator has been busy experimenting since Season 3’s launch. After some careful study of the interesting Warzone Season 3 patch notes and some in-game testing, JGOD has come up with the best weapons to use right now.
But do they match up against JGOD’s earlier Warzone Season 3 meta predictions?
Warzone Season 3 Best Weapons After 1.36 Update
When it comes to snipers, JGOD is running with the Kar98k once again in Season 3. However, despite many players calling the Kar98k the best sniper in Warzone, the HDR is another very viable option.
In both of JGOD’s sniper classes, he recommends using the new Sykov fully-auto pistol as a secondary – just not in its akimbo setting.
When you’re grabbing your second loadout of the game as the circle starts to shrink, JGOD recommends going with the GRAU. Using the Fully Loaded perk alongside the popular assault rifle, you’re not going to have to worry about ammo and you get a nice, easy-to-use weapon to boot.
When it comes to a secondary in this class, JGOD again recommends using the Sykov. It seems that the Sykov nerf still leaves the automatic pistol as a viable option in Warzone.
The CR-56 AMAX is one of the strongest guns in Warzone right now, and it shows. At medium-to-long-range, this weapon is capable of putting enemies in the ground with ease.
The AMAX hasn’t really changed in Warzone Season 3, and it still performs very much the same as it used to. Partner it with the newly-buffed Black Ops Cold War AK-47 set up as an SMG and you’ve got two twin guns for all situations.
Just today we were discovering this brand-new zero recoil Krig 6 class in Warzone. From what NICKMERCS had to say, this gun is the new meta when it comes to Warzone Season 3.
Make sure you’re decking out the Krig 6 for range as it won’t hold its own against some faster firing guns up close. But get a Sykov, AK-47, or LC-10 on deck to cover your weaknesses and you’ve got an excellent all-round class.
When it comes to the RAM-7, you’ve got one of the best close-range weapons in the game. JGOD believes that this is the best sniper support weapon, making it a perfect pairing for a long-range beast.
It’s not as quick as some of the Black Ops Cold War weapons, but we’d definitely take the RAM-7 if we were heading into a close-quarters area.
AK-47 (Black Ops Cold War)
Although we’ve seen the AK-47 in some of JGOD’s other loadouts, this one is built as a long-range option. And right now, it’s definitely one of the best in the game.
After a nice recoil reduction in Season 3, the assault rifle is more than viable in Warzone – but it takes some skill to wield. JGOD recommends another fast-firing close-range secondary when running the weapon like this, and the Bullfrog is a good option.
Finally, the weapon you all knew was coming – the FARA 83. Right now, players calling the FARA the most broken weapon in Warzone Season 3 due to its insane firepower.
NICKMERCS claims that the FARA 83 is basically the FFAR again, and he’s not the only content creator to pick up on that fact. Grab your new loadout from the link above and bring along an AMAX or other long-range weapon to clean up the battlefield.
Right now, Warzone already has a game-breaking glitch in Verdansk ’84. However, at least Activision is confirming that it’s investing more resources into Warzone’s anti-cheat software.
Take a look at JGOD‘s full weapon loadouts and class setups for all of these weapons in the video below:
JGOD also recommends changing these Warzone settings immediately to spot enemies hiding in the shadows. Unfortunately, console players will have to wait until the incoming next-gen Warzone patch to get better overall visibility.
