The RPK isn’t quite as powerful as it once was in Warzone 2, but it is still a solid long-range choice if you use the following loadout:
Attachment | Tuning | How to Unlock |
TY-LR8 (Muzzle) | +0.65 ↑ +0.18 → | SA-B 50 Level 17 |
AIM OP-V4 (Optic) | -1.58 ↓ -1.65 → | BAS-P Level 5 |
FTAC Ripper 56 (Underbarrel) | +0.54 ↑ +0.32 → | Lachmann-762 Level 6 |
7.62 High Velocity (Ammunition) | -0.52 ↓ -1.74 ← | Kastov 762 Level 13 |
Demo-X2 Grip (Rear Grip) | +0.48 ↑ +0.16 → | RPK Level 18 |

Meta RPK Attachments in Warzone 2
The TY-LR8 is the best muzzle for the RPK in Warzone 2 as it reduces horizontal recoil more than any other barrel. If you haven’t unlocked this yet, then the Sakin Tread-40 and Bore-490 are also good options.
Our favorite optic for the RPK is the AIM OP-V4, thanks to its low visual recoil, but equip whichever optic you like the most.
We have opted for the FTAC Ripper 56 over other good underbarrels like the Edge-47 Grip and Lockgrip Precision 40 as it doesn’t reduce your movement speed. Additionally, it reduces vertical and horizontal recoil by 4%.
Next, the 7.62 High Velocity ammunition gives you more accuracy at long range by increasing the RPK’s bullet velocity by 44%.
Finally, the Demo-X2 Grip is an extremely underrated attachment for the RPK. This is because it reduces recoil without slowing down your ADS time.

Best Secondary Weapon for RPK Class
When using an RPK loadout in Warzone 2, you’ll also want to be carrying a powerful SMG to cover you in short-range gunfights. These are the ones we recommend:
