Best PVP Builds for Elden Ring – October 2022

If you’re a fan of Elden Ring PVP combat, here are the best builds that you need to be using in October 2022.

By now, many gamers are getting to the endgame of Elden Ring and are eager for a new challenge.

But while we wait for the seemingly-inevitable Elden Ring DLC to arrive, the only new opponents we can fight are other players, either through invading or getting invaded.

Although Elden Ring will try to pair you with similar-level players when in PVP, you’ll want to be as prepared as possible.

Elden Ring PVP Multiplayer

Finally, make sure you know how to get the Bloody Finger for unlimited free PVP in Elden Ring.

Best Elden Ring PVP Builds for Invading

We have 3 PVP builds perfect for invading in Elden Ring.

Full instructions for each build are listed below.

Before you invade another player’s world (or invite them to duel in yours), make sure to choose one of Elden Ring’s best PVP builds.

Also don’t forget to upgrade your weapons as much as possible before invading. You’ll also want to make sure you have your optimal loadout equipped as you won’t be able to easily swap things around once you’re in another player’s world.

And while enemies should be at a similar level to you, bear in mind that you may need to fight a player’s allies too. It pays to be as strong as possible in Elden Ring PVP.

Rivers of Blood Build

Elden Ring Rivers of Blood

One of the most notorious weapons in Elden Ring, the Rivers of Blood katana does insane bleed damage buildup. The sword obliterates bosses and enemy players alike, which is why it’s so popular in-game right now.

Here’s where to find the Rivers of Blood katana for yourself.

  • Vigor
  • Dexterity

Moonveil Katana Build

Elden Ring Moonveil Katana

Another one of Elden Ring’s best katana options is the Moonveil katana. With this powerful weapon, you’ll be combining some of the game’s strongest spells with a hard-hitting Ash of War.

Colossal Greatsword Build

Elden Ring Greatsword

If you want to be as simple and effective as an Elden Ring build can get, look no further than the Colossal Greatsword. Also known as the Berserk Greatsword, this mighty weapon makes you feel like Guts himself, and it’s surprisingly agile with the Bloodhound’s Step Ash of War.

Flask of Wondrous Physick: Greenburst Crystal Tear, Opaline Bubbletear

Attributes to Focus

  • Strength
  • Vigor
  • Endurance

Bear in mind that we’ve avoided naming some of the most exploit-heavy builds in Elden Ring in this PVP guide. After all, not only do many players hate fighting against such broken tools, but they’re also likely to get nerfed soon.

Getting to the end of your time in the Lands Between? Why not put down the weapons for a second and take a look at some of the most interesting Elden Ring fan theories?

Or perhaps you’d prefer to PVP as Thanos in Elden Ring instead, with this creative new build.

Oh my, forced invasion's... I love them for 1 reason and that's because I always set myself to help people who have been invaded and it so far has worked out for the person needing help lol.

Last night I was in the middle of a dungeon quest and I kept getting summoned which was a semi pain because I was letting my wife use my character to learn the controls and basics and how to stay calm when you you probably shouldn't but need to before she started her own game.

Anyways I kept getting pulled into games like every 5 min. It was the same person invading others and after a couple of fights it was obvious they didn't like seeing me pulled in lol.

I was ruining their murder plans by ripping them apart before they got the chance. It was hilarious.

I use a vampire build and I started doing so from the start so it was before it was popular or super meta.

I don't even think they have fixed arcane scaling properly so I'm not even running around at full potential.

It's abnormal to see an invader run half way across a section of the map hoping you won't chase them and eventually leave.

It's even better to disguise yourself as a bush and wait for the invaded to "find" the player they are trying to kill hiding near said bush only for the bush to change into a person right as the invader approaches and cutting them down in very little time lol.

It's so much fun even if it interupts what you're currently doing. So much so I'm gonna go play now and hope I get summoned.
