The Great League Remix shakes up the meta by banning the top 20 most popular Pokemon from the standard Great League. While this makes the tournament much more competitive, it also makes it harder to pick your team – but we’ve got that sorted for you!

The best battle team to use in the Great League Remix is:

  • Scrafty
  • Carbink (Regirock if you don’t have Carbink)
  • Cresselia

This team is well-balanced and can counter all of the meta options. You’ll want Scrafty as your lead Pokemon, while you can switch to Carbink or Cresselia to exploit the weaknesses of your opponent’s Pokemon.

In addition to this battle team, there are plenty more Pokemon that can take you to victories in the Great League Remix. There are our top 10 choices and their strongest attacks:

Any Pokemon with an (XL) next to its name requires XL Candy to reach 1500 CP.

Meanwhile, all of the attacks with a star (*) next to it are exclusive attacks. This means that if your Pokemon doesn’t already know it, you’ll need an Elite TM to teach it to them.
