The PDW received some serious buffs in this patch that completely transformed it into a monster of a gun. It has become one of the top two choices of players when it comes to short-ranged combat. While it’s more popular in the classic COD Mode, it’s still an excellent choice for BR.

When it comes to playing with the PDW, the rules are simple. Shoot anything that moves. The fire rate is rapid and you can decimate any opponent. That being said, make sure to take the gun on shorter maps, especially Black Ops 2 maps – since the PDW was also a top dog for a long time in BO2.
For BR, while not the best gun, it’s still up there. You can easily use it with all the movement tools available to get close to your opponent. Just keep in mind that the PDW is horrendous at a distance.
