The Pokemon GO Winter Wishes Research requires players to pick one of three paths, but which one is the best?

Sometimes, Research Stories in Pokemon GO have different paths that players can choose from. This is a great feature as it allows players to get rewards that suit them more, but it’s not always clear which option is the right one.

This is certainly the case for the Winter Wishes Research. Don’t worry, though – we’ve been through every bonus and reward for each path, and have found the best to choose!

Which is the Best Path in the Pokemon GO Winter Wishes Research – Hatching Eggs, Catching Pokemon, or Collecting Stardust?

The best path in the Pokemon GO Winter Wishes Research is the Hatching Eggs path. This is because it rewards players with an Incubator upon completion and gives the best bonus – 1/2 Egg hatch distance.

The Catching Pokemon and Collecting Stardust paths can also be good options but, in our opinion, aren’t quite as good as Hatching Eggs.

This is because their final completion reward is slightly worse, being a Lucky Egg or Star Piece. Plus, their bonuses are also less useful for the majority of players.

Each path in the Pokemon GO Winter Wishes Research grants players a different bonus for the rest of the Winter Holiday event, which ends on December 31, 2022:

• Hatching Eggs
  • 1/2 Egg hatch distance for Eggs placed in an incubator
• Catching Pokemon
  • 2x XP for catching Pokemon
• Collecting Stardust
  • 2x Stardust for catching Pokemon
